  • Request Form for Nurse Aide Continuing Education Modules
    The North Carolina Division of Facility Services introduces seven continuing education modules for nurse aides, which are available for the first time on CD-ROM. The modules were designed primarily for the nursing assistant who has already completed a basic nurse aide course of instruction and is currently working in a skilled nursing facility.

    The National Clearinghouse on the Direct Care Workforce supports efforts to improve the quality of jobs for frontline workers who assist people who are elderly and/or live with disabilities.

    The Paraprofessional Healthcare Institute focuses on innovative approaches to recruitment, training, and supervision of direct care workers; caregiving practices centered around consumers; and effective public policy.

    The Institute for the Future of Aging Services is a policy research institute within the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.
