Welcome to the Web site of the Direct Care Workers Association of North Carolina. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of long-term care through public awareness, education and professional development of direct care workers.

Who are direct care workers? We are nurse aides. We are personal care assistants. We are mental health technicians and others who are dedicated, compassionate, paraprofessional caregivers.
